Gas insulated switchgear are normally mounted indoors. This drawing shows the plan & elevation of the GIS building, switchgear location, dimensions of the switchgear (L X W X H) hook height, location of local control panels, EOT crane and location of relay & control panels. This drawing also shows how the switchgear is connected to other equipment - either by bus duct or by cables.
